  • Rabbit meat is classified as a game meat.
  • It has the highest percentage of digestible protein compared to other meats and the lowest amount of fat.
  • Domesticated rabbits have fewer calories than beef, pork or chicken.
  • Rabbit is an all white meat. It can be fried, baked, grilled or cooked in stews.
  • Nutirtional values: 3 g total fat, 105 mg cholesterol, 292 mg potassium, 0 g carbohydrates, 0 g sugar, 28 g protein.
  • Rabbit is raised for meat, bone broth, manure and hides.
  • Rabbit manure is a super fertilizer. It can be used any time of the year. It is used as top dressing, mulch around plants, buried in ground around transplants, and worked into the soil.
  • Sold whole at the farmers market year round.
