Basic Care Suggestions for Wool Products
- Wool needs to be aired on a regular basis (every few months)
- Air bedding in the sun to remove any moisture that may be retained and infuse with naturally freshness. Sunlight is a natural sanitizer.
- Use baking soda is you have an odor problem
- Run your bedding through the dryer on air or coolest setting to fluff it out
- Don’t wash- spot clean with solution of 1 part distilled white vinegar to 3 parts water
- Remove pillow cover and quilt top before washing on gentle/hand wash cycle, dry on
low setting in drier, remove promptly, press with iron if needed
